On Monday the 8th, I turn 29 years old. To celebrate, today we went out to K1 indoor electric Go Kart racing. Mom wanted to go Go Kart racing for her birthday in February, so we just shared this event. We all ran 2 races of 14 laps. In the first race, we had 3 racers that were extremely aggressive and pushy. The second race was much more fun and clean. Afterward we went to Fuddruckers for dinner. It was really delicious, plus we were all starving! In the evening we hung out at my place and played games and Rock band. Thanks to all who took the time to come and party! Mom and Dad got me a pair of movie themed paintings to hang in my home theater. I love them!

Well, it’s 2010 now. Time to start thing over right, go on that diet we’ve all be talking so much about, and try really really hard not to write the wrong date on our checks. Last night we had a bunch of friends over for a party. We played lots of RockBand 2 for PS3 as well as The Beatles RockBand which John brought over. John also gave us a dart board on extended loan for the house. Amazingly enough While playing darts, I puled a Robin Hood split arrow! This is real, I have witnesses! Got me a double 25 points. All in all it was a fun evening. We must have been up until 3:30AM playing the New Mario Wii game. LOL. Thnks to everybody who came and have a Happy New Year.

Because Scott was in town on Sausagefest weekend, a bunch of us went to Disneyland that following Sunday. It was a grand day out indeed. Some of us, including myself got Southern California Annual pass. So I can go as many times as I want in the next year if it’s not blocked out here.

On Sat 11/21 we had Sausagefest 2009. As usual there were many friends and lots of sausage. I made sure both grills were working properly to maximize throughput. Victor and Kenji did a great job organizing the event. We had two video game rooms going. One for Singstar and one for the new Mario game for Wii. Here’s the pics.

A couple weeks ago we had a LAN Party on September 4th through the 7th. It worked out well because that Monday was a holiday. We were able to space people out more than before since we fully utilized the downstairs bedroom, living room, and part of the kitchen/dining room. I filmed a timelapse video below of the action. I had to move it around because no single camera angle could possibly show it all. I took extra care this time to ensure there were no issues. I replaced the entire electric panel on my house. I installed 3 new dedicated 20A circuits (1 for server racks, 2 for whatever). I pre-installed and tested all electrical cabling and network cabling to avoid headaches. Everybody got a gigabit port. I even bought a brand new DOCSIS 3.0 cable modem since the old one was acting up. It all turned out well as could be expected. We only burned out one outlet. LOL. The circuit that ran only Dave’s portable AC unit for the downstairs bedroom, no computers, died and I had to replace a receptacle in the middle of that circuit. Dave setup a dedicated server with most of the games on it. John organized the client side games. Joe baked the potatoes dinner and cheese cake for desert! Que Bueno all around!

We’re having a LAN Partyo this weekend. You can watch on the cam page. Some people are in a back room hidden away from view but you can still see the living room and kitchen areas.

… So the song goes. For the 4th of July a bunch of us went for a cruise on Jason’s Parents’ yacht. We did the same thing last year. Jason’s birthday is also 4th of July. So we go out onto the bay and watch Jason’s private fireworks displays. LOL. There were burgers, fireworks, friends, and CAKE! What more could one want? Here’s some photos.

Today we had a little pre-4th of July BBQ party. Tomorrow is Jason’s B-Day/Yacht ride into the bay to watch fireworks. Jessica brought her new puppy, Evie. She’s one tiny little doggie. Very friendly, no noise. I replaced the bad regulator on the grill and it now makes fire! YAY. On go the burgers. Fun was had by all. We will have even more fun tomorrow. Stay tuned.
