We went to the San Diego Zoo today. I had a great time. For me the best parts were the Polar Bears and the Giant Pandas. The polar bears had snow today, complete with x-mas trees and a fake plastic santa to rip up. Panda GAO GAO (daddy) was sleeping somewhere. MEI SHENG (baby) and BAI YUN (mom) were out and about. MEI SHENG is the second giant panda to be born in the San Diego Zoo. Here’s some pics.
In mark’s post on his blog titled “Partial Parcel”, there is more to the story. We opened up his second xbox and installed the new Xecuter3 modchip. However in the process of installing he had an accident. He knelt on one of my workbench chairs to take a photo of the work in progress and accidentally wacked his nose on one of the flouresent shop lights. OUCH! It could have been worse I suppose.
So the good news is the xbox mod works properly. The bad news is Mark managed to injure himself when he wasn’t even the one holding the hot soldiering iron and pointy implements. He took it very well though. If anybody can headbang a shop light and laugh about it, Mark can. 
This year I took 8.55 Gigabytes of pictures with my digital camera. Here is a graph of past years. Any guesses on how many I will take in 2005?
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody is there to hear it, does it make a sound?
Substitute tree for LARGE BRANCH, and forest for my backyard. There was a really big windy storm last night and it ripped off a very large branch on a tree in my backyard. It fell on some back bushes in the back of the yard we call the secret hideout. The fort that was in there from when I was little is probably partially demolished now. hehe.
Well Christmas is over and it was good. Mostly my dad’s side of the family came over this year. We ate turkey and ham and played games. All my presents were no suprise to me because I bought my own stuff ahead of time… The xbox, modchip, and 1GB USB drive. I did have one suprise however. My friend, Joe, in SC sent me an electronic voice changer kit. Should come in handy next Halloween. Here’s some pics.
We’ve been so busy with other things this year, we didn’t really get around to decorating. SO finally here it is. A tree and lights. Maybe more next year.

We’ve been using the new kitchen for weeks now but I just want to say… I love cooking on gas. SOOOO much better. Here’s my breakfast today on Christmas Eve day.
