Today grandma’s house sold for $610,000. That’s right 610 thousand bucks! Hey, what did you expect? This is San Diego, not inner Mongolia. It has about doubled in value since she bought it 2 years ago. If all goes well, we’ll have some new neighbors just before Dave and Mike get here. It’s a shame, that house could have made an excelent LAN Party shack.
SDG&E has sent another letter stating that due to the bad weather last week, they were unable to do their work. So the power outage has been moved to Friday March 4th. If this site doesn’t work or you can’t get to Tiger Cam on the 4th, it’s because the power is OFF. 
Today I took and passed the Microsoft 70-291 Exam on my first attempt. 70-291 is the second of 5 Server 2003 exams. This one is Implementing, Managing, and Maintaining a Miscrosoft Windows Server 2003 Network Infrastructure. i.e. A hell of a lot on DNS. LOL.
Trivia: Of all the exams I have taken, amazingly 3 of my scores exactly match those of Chris, a classmate.

It’s been raining all week. Hightly unusual for San Diego. We’ve broken an all time record for sheer quantity of rain since June in all recorded history. There are sinkholes and houses sliding around all over the city. Here’s some pics of rain. FYI, photographing rain is HARD! LOL
Today we went out as a family to look for new furniture. Why you ask? Because the couch and two recliners we have are pissing us off. They’re just too cheap and flimsy and tippy-overy and flattened and stuff. So here we are at the local LA-Z-BOY store picking out some quality items. Dave and Mike, this’ll help a lot because now we’ll have enough recliners to sit all of us while watching TV or movies. (FYI Dave, I always was moving that chair from my room to your room because laying on your bed while watching TV or a Movie isn’t exactly a day at the beach. now we’ll have REAL chairs to sit on. hehe) Also I would like to note that the security camera aimed at the back door is quite the funny. LOL It’s an OLD RCA tube cam. It is sideways, plugged in and turned on, but there is NO video connection. Just an old vintage 1970’s CCTV camera used as a deturant dummy. Why even bother plugging it in?? LOL
Most of you probably couldn’t care less but WordPress came out with a new version this week. Version 1.5. It’s a semi-big leap from the old version 1.2. Most of the changes are administrative so you won’t notice any difference.
< RANT > However it is interesting to note that my comments still end at a white screen after a user posts one. That means the problem must lie in my databse or PHP or Apache..? I duno, all I know is it really pisses me off when little problems that are so hard to fix and nobody on the planet seems to have this problem but me! Even my cousin was using the exact same version of everything I was for a while and he didn’t have this problem. Grrr < / RANT >
UPDATE: The comment postings seem to work properly now. Why? Beats the PHP out of me. I did nothing.. OY! Oh well I’m just happy it works.
SDG&E (the power company) has notified me that the power will be off on Wednesday, February 23. It will be turned off at 8:00AM and will remain off for no more than 9 hours. This means that my websites including this blog will be offline during the outage. NO they don’t run on magic pixy dust or black magic! I swear I can’t go for more than 3 or 4 months without power outages! Sheesh.
