Moving the “band”
Recently 4 of my friends got a notice that they have to move out of their place. The four of them, Ken, John, JJ, and Scott, all lived together in a two story condo. This place has been for years the main gathering place for all of us in a large group of friends. We have had a lot of fun up there every Friday for years. However the owner of the place wants to sell it. So they got a 60 day notice. Many of us were afraid that the “band” would break up because of this. The four of them seem to have a very good dynamic living together as roommates. It would be a absolute shame to see that situation destroyed. After a very thorough and coordinated search, they have found a new place to live. It is almost in exactly the same location so nobody has to drive any more or less to get to school and work than before. If the location changed, it could have been a deal breaker for some and that would be bad. The new place is a house. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bath, separate 2 car garage, backyard, and is located in a very nice neighborhood. I helped them move in on this past Saturday. They rented a moving truck and we filled that, as well as our truck and Dave’s truck.
I will miss the old place. It was kind of neat with the stairs and large mirror wall. 
The old place was within walking distance of Vons too. We’ll be doing more driving to get food and stuff now. The new place does have a few more perks that the old place dind’t have. The Backyard and Garage will be really nice for them to have. Scott and John want to do projects in the garage. We’re having our annual SausageFest 2007 at the new house.
